Very Convenient

Very convenient to DC attractions via subway. Drive to metro and park and ride, or catch shuttle to subway. Park is very nice, with nice facilities and staff. Thank you for prominent recycling containers...we are big on that! Only complaint is there wasn't much shade, but overall a very nice experience.

Great Location as a Home Base for Washington DC Sightseeing

This is a big RV Park. You do not come here to get close to nature. This is where you come to have an awesome home base for an RV trip when you want to see Washington DC. You are right off the beltway so it is easy to get to. There is great transportation options right at the RV Park. The buses stop right there and the Metro is only three miles away, a quick cab ride. We had a tour company come pick the six of us up in a private van and that worked well for us. There is plenty to do here to keep the kids busy. There are playgrounds, pools, an arcade, and a tractor that that pulls guest around in a trailer in the evenings. There is a store and a café. We got pizzas at the café one day after touring. The spots are close together. The hookups worked well. The showers were fine. We also used the large laundry room. For being so close in to the city, they have created a nice haven for RV's.
