Walk the beach for miles, hunting for shells, casting for bluefish and scouring the surface for dolphins that often cavort on by. Or head across this sliver of an island it’s just a quarter-mile wide, to Pamlico Sound, where windsurfers and kiteboarders scoot off toward the horizon.

There's also a full roster of summer activities at the campground - everything from pool games to basketball tournaments, craft activities like bead jewelry making, live skits and live music provided by the Summershiners. Finish with a dip in either of two pools and grab a bite at the poolside snack bar.

Our Big Bouncer is a great hit with the entire family. Enjoy a family-oriented film under the stars at our Outdoor Cinema. Grab your sleeping bag and some change and hit the snack bar.
